"We will be visited by more than two million guests, since we are the face of the country, we need to show that Astana is one of the best cities, beautiful and creative, - said the Mayor. We need to work on good manners in restaurants, hotels and in public places. We should make Astana a model and one of the cultural centres. We need to do this.”
The edition notes that in the course of his speech the akim invited the students to take part in the citywide community work day.
"We must declare war on garbage. We should be more active, every resident, every student, every store should start with itself. We have a good tradition of community work days, and there will be a citywide community work day held on Saturday, we ask you to support it,” Issekeshev said.
