Climbers from Astana devoted their ascent to the highest peak of Europe to the EXPO

Climbers from Astana conquered the highest point in Europe - Elbrus peak. This is reported by EXPO2017.com website with reference to the press service of Astana akim.

"The climb took place from June 2 to 16 this year and was dedicated to the international specialized exhibition Astana EXPO 2017. Climbing trainer Sergey Belyakov, the deputy director of the Zhiger sports club Kuanysh Seytmagambetov and four sportsmen climbed to the top", - the press service said.

Peak Elbrus is located in the northern part of the mountain system of the Greater Caucasus. The highest mountain peak in Europe is 5 642 meters above sea level.
