Development Bank of Kazakhstan to move to the territory of EXPO

4 May

In autumn two buildings on the territory of the world specialized exhibition Astana EXPO 2017 will be occupied by the National Management Holding "Baiterek" and the Development Bank of Kazakhstan. This was informed by the Chairman of the Board of the bank Mr. Bolat Zhamishev, "Khabar 24" TV channel reports.

Among the main reasons for the move is the high rent of buildings in the centre of Astana, which DBK leases from the real estate fund “Samruk-Kazyna”. Annually, excluding value-added tax, the Development Bank of Kazakhstan pays the fund nearly 264 million tenge.

"We have high requirements for information management, information security, that is, moving from one building to another with some periodicity is impossible. Now we are located where we are located. At the end of the year, it is planned that the entire”Baiterek" holding, including DBK, will relocate to a new office, and we will all be together on the territory of EXPO. By the autumn two buildings should be completed,” Zhamishev shared.

Let us remind that on the territory of the world exhibition after completion of EXPO will be also located the International Financial Centre "Astana", which will comprise two pavilions, and the Eurasian financial centre "Astana". In addition, a park of IT-startups will appear on the basis of the exhibition facilities, in the creation of which Finland will take part.
