EXPO security to be provided by special police buses

Order in Astana during the world specialized exhibition EXPO 2017 will be monitored by mobile investigative and operational groups of police on special buses. This was reported in the Department of Internal Affairs of the capital of Kazakhstan, the newspaper "Liter" writes.

The mobile teams include investigators, criminologists, operational staff, district police inspectors, police drivers and volunteers speaking English.

"Today the capital police is making every effort to make Astana a safe city. The use of modern technology in the investigation of crimes increases the efficiency of the police. The buses is organized as a mobile police station equipped with all necessary devices. The bus houses an office with the access to the bases of the Unified register of pre-trial investigations, inkless fingerprinting station, "Autosearch" functions and more. Furthermore, the bus is equipped with cameras with outside surveillance. There is a compartment for the detainees, police officers' working places", - said the head of the Department of Internal Affairs of Astana Amantay Aubakirov.

According to the police official, the new approach will allow to register applications and take the entire set of operational and investigative measures without leaving the territorial divisions of internal affairs right on the spot.
