More than 800 EXPO visitors needed the help of doctors

Approximately 800 visitors applied for medical assistance at the site of the world specialized exhibition Astana EXPO 2017. This was reported by the spokesperson of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Yernar Akimkulov, "Kazinform" reports.

"They applied because of injuries, circulatory system diseases and others. There were no serious conditions or lethal outcomes," the spokesperson of the Ministry said.

As the spokesperson explained, medical assistance is provided by “Mediker”  company. There are seven medical centres on the territory of the exhibition, as well as a medical centre which operates seven days a week without interruption.

“The provision of emergency medical assistance for the population is currently carried out by 85 brigades. These teams completed internships and received an international BLC certificate. A three-month supply of medicines and medical products was provided during EXPO 2017. At the same time, 20 brigades whose staff speak English have the corresponding certificate,"Akimkulov noted.

Let us remind, earlier became known that hundreds of visitors of the world specialized exhibition Astana EXPO 2017 suffered from anomalous heat. People have been subjected to heat strokes and overheating.
