What was shown in the Kazakhstan EXPO pavilion

14 June

The best projects of local scientists have been presented by Kazakhstan at the world specialized exhibition Astana EXPO 2017. They were placed in the national pavilion "Nur Alem", built in the form of a huge sphere, the information portal El.kz writes.

The National Pavilion consists of two main zones. In the first visitors get acquainted with the history and culture of Kazakhstan, and in the second one, called "Creative energy", the latest technological achievements of the country are demonstrated.

Guests of the pavilion are met by tour guides who talk about the history and living of Kazakh people in Russian, Kazakh and English.

The exposition on the top floor of the national pavilion was dedicated to the young capital of Kazakhstan. It reveals the face of Astana in 30 years with flying cars and innovative projects. One floor below is the Space Energy Hall with futuristic exhibits. On the 6th floor visitors can watch a video about the dawn of the planet Earth. Wind farms were placed on the 5th floor of the pavilion. Visitors can personally feel wind power at different levels. The theme of using biomass of the planet Earth is presented on the 4th floor. The brightest inventions of mankind are presented in the hall of kinetic energy.

Let us remind that earlier Kazakhstan presented at the EXPO its technologies in the field of nuclear energy in the pavilion "The World of Atomic Energy", the central object of which is the Kazakhstani material thermonuclear reactor "Tokamak". It is an experimental thermonuclear installation for research and testing of materials under conditions of energy loads close to ITER (the international experimental thermonuclear reactor project). The setup allows obtaining high-temperature plasma.
