"During the conversation in the White House Kazykhanov conveyed greetings and best wishes to the President of the United States on behalf of the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev", - the MFA of RK reported.
During the meeting, the diplomat noted that the strategic partnership between the two countries continues to be strengthened in all key areas, including in the political, trade-economic, investment, legal and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
"In his turn, Donald Trump praised Kazakhstan's achievements in the years of independence, as well as the contribution that our country has made to ensure international and regional security. The US President expressed interest in expanding Kazakh-American relations and expressed support for the forthcoming international specialized exhibition EXPO 2017 in Astana ", - MFA of RK reported.
Let us remind, the USA signed a contract of participation in the world exhibition Astana EXPO 2017 in the capital of Kazakhstan on February, 24. American diplomats dedicated to the exhibition a special ecological action, in which they call on Kazakhstanis to stop using free plastic bags in supermarkets.
In addition to the developments from world-renowned American companies, it is expected that 8 US startups on the "Energy of the Future" will be presented at once in the US pavilion at the EXPO 2017.
