The head of the European Solar Energy Association urged to visit EXPO

He said that an installation for the development of solar energy in space will be demonstrated at the international exhibition in Astana.

For instance, Viessmann will demonstrate an ice storage system running on solar energy. The Kazakh company ABB, which is part of the global ABB group based in Zurich, will present the Solar Impulse project. This innovative aircraft also uses the power of solar energy.

"The future of solar energy is unlimited, the exhibition will demonstrate some of the most promising developments in the field of solar energy.If you want to look into the future, then you certainly should visit EXPO 2017," wrote James Watson.

As Watson notes, the main advantage of solar energy in comparison with other types is its low cost for both producers and consumers. Approximately since 2009, the cost of solar power plants has decreased by 75%, and according to forecasts of SolarPower Europe, the costs will continue to decline.
