5 June

Four countries will not manage commission the pavilions to the opening of the world specialized exhibition Astana EXPO 2017. This was reported by Today.kz information portal with reference to the director of the Department for Work with International Participants of JSC "NC" "Astana EXPO 2017" Ilya Urazakov.

Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Slovakia and Belarus will not be able to put their pavilion into operation on time. The organizers of EXPO explained the reason for the protracted construction of the pavilions of these countries.

"This was due only to the fact that the countries began their construction procedures rather late. Some of them delayed the processes of tender operators, etc. They only have to do the  whitewashing, painting, installation of the last exhibits. Also being conducted the installation of doors, connection of plasma TVs and so on. We set a deadline. I think that they had no choice but to delay," Urazakov explained.

According to Mr.Urazakov, during the construction of EXPO facilities in Astana, the experience of organizing exhibitions in Milan and Shanghai had been taken into account. This also applies to the issues of staff accreditation.

"Accreditation makes it very easy to secure the whole process. Every person who receives accreditation is undergoing the entire process, monitoring system and not everyone can obtain this accreditation. Human flow management system. When an exhibition is visited by 70 to 100 thousand people, it is very important that this system is built. Human flow system, the system of transport infrastructure, logistics. We adopted the experience, emphasizing the mistakes, in order not to repeat them in our project," Urazakov said.

According to representatives of the organizer of the exhibition, there are 89 commissioners in Kazakhstan, more than 160 representatives of various countries that participate in EXPO. Each pavilion is served by 30 to 170 people.

Let us remind, on June 4, Astana EXPO 2017 exhibition complex started working in a test mode. The countries participating in the exhibition have already begun to present their national pavilions on the territory of the complex.
