China tells about the history of energy development in its EXPO pavilion

15 June

The process of energy development from ancient times to our days is demonstrated by China in its pavilion at the world specialized exhibition Astana EXPO 2017. This is reported by the "Kazakhstanskaya Pravda" newspaper.

The exposition covers the history of energy from traditional fossil fuels to new sources. Back in 960-1279 the Chinese invented and created a water wheel. Its appearance contributed to a sharp increase in labor productivity. In 1405-1433 the inhabitants of this country started to explore wind energy. The sailing fleet headed by Zheng He made 7 cruises along the Pacific and Indian oceans. Thus a new era of maritime shipping started in China. The treasure ships of 148 meters long and 60 meters wide were the world's largest sailing wooden vessels of that time.

The Chinese Pavilion is divided into four sections: "Energy Corridor", "Wisdom and Practice of China", "Energy Dream Theater", "Global Mission and Cooperation".

Visitors can learn about the dream of mankind regarding energy from the short film "The Great Way". The guests of the pavilion can see how the "green" energy changes the way of life of all people on the planet. New technologies save energy, control temperature and do not produce harmful emissions into the atmosphere.

The EXPO2017.com website has already mentioned five reasons why the forthcoming Astana EXPO 2017 exhibition is of interest to the Chinese people. The main reasons include the upcoming concert of Dimash Kudaibergen who plunged China in a real "Dimashemania after his participation in the "I'm a singer" contest.

In addition, China issued memorable banknotes in honor of EXPO 2017. Special bank notes were issued for the first time in the history of the international exhibition movement.

China received two pavilions at the EXPO exhibition. China is going to focus on the achievements enabling to receive electricity and nuclear energy from water. Green cars of Chinese production will be demonstrated at the exhibition.

The delegation from China is expected to be the largest one at EXPO 2017. The Chinese exhibition pavilion will host the Xinjiang Week, "The Year of China's Tourism in Kazakhstan" and the National Day of China in Astana and the Week of Beijing will start on June 16.

Moreover, the exhibition of "Terracotta Army Qin Shihuandi" is held as part of China's participation in EXPO in Astana. About 50 archeological items brought from the People's Republic of China are exhibited in the National Museum of Kazakhstan.

The festival of Chinese cinema with the participation of the legendary actor of militants Jackie Chan has already started within the framework of China's participation in the EXPO in Astana. He took part in the opening ceremony of the festival. The actor came to Astana to present his new film "Kung Fu Yoga". Jackie Chan was greeted in Kazakhstan with great delight. He even managed to take part in the traditional Kazakh ritual of child's first steps called "tsuau kesu".

It is also known that the International Radio of China will provide information support to the EXPO and the "Xinhua" agency even released a small video about the love of a Chinese lady and a Kazakhstani young man on the eve of the exhibition. The video is based on the story of the Chinese leader Xi Jinping about the events that occurred in the 60s of last century.

Earlier, Chinese Ambassador to Kazakhstan Zhang Hanhui expressed concern about possible problems with visas for Chinese people prior to the EXPO 2017. According to the Ambassador, there is uncertainty in the issue of obtaining visas related to the work of private Kazakhstani intermediaries.

Due to the increased interest of Chinese citizens to the exhibition, the diplomats of Kazakhstan and China have already switched to an advanced schedule of work.
