Minister spoke about the solution of the problem of lacking railway tickets during the EXPO

Astana will welcome about 1.8 million people from the regions of Kazakhstan during the world specialized exhibition EXPO 2017. This was stated by the Minister for Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zhenis Kasymbek, the IIA "Kazinform" reports.

During the meeting of the minister with the population, the resident of Shymkent spoke about the problems faced by those wishing to buy tickets for trains to Astana. According to the minister, these issues are being resolved.

"According to our plans, about 1.8 million people will come to see the EXPO from all regions of Kazakhstan, more than half of them will get there by train, so we have doubled the number of trains running to the capital", - said Zhenis Kasymbek.

As the minister noted, half of trains from the regions will arrive to the new railway station while the rest will get to the old one.

Let us remind that 14 additional trains have been launched specially for EXPO 2017 in Kazakhstan. In total, currently 58 trains operate the country's railway routes.
