EXPO will show Kazakhstan's electric car on solar panels costing $200

Kazakhstani scientists have developed an electric car worth $200. The machine was created by the employees of the International University named after Khoja Akhmet Yassawi, the Kremlinpress.com website reported.

The electric car works on accumulators capable of accumulating solar energy. The official presentation of the development, according to the media, will be held this summer at the world specialized exhibition Astana EXPO 2017. The weight of the car is only 300 kilograms.

According to the International university named after K.A.Yassawi representative, Satyrmichai Ferkhat, a plant will open in the beginning of winter at the university. The car is planned to be produced serially and in several variants. As Ferkhat assured, people with disabilities will be able to get the car for free.
