The Lithuanian pavilion demonstrated unusual dishes prepared with the use of nanotechnologies at the world specialized exhibition EXPO 2017. Among the treats there were caviar from honey and ice cream from fish, the "Khabar 24" TV channel reports.
The National Day of Lithuania was held at the territory of EXPO 2017. The country is widely known for the production of laser technologies, so the main theme of the pavilion was laser decoration. Let's note, that in Lithuania about one quarter of the electricity is produced with the help of renewable sources. The main emphasis in the development of RES is made on wind and solar energy.
"Here we demonstrate solar batteries that are of very high quality, and we are, of course, ready to share our experience in water treatment, and in various other sectors, because our delegation is headed by the Minister of Environmental Protection", - the Commissioner of the pavilion Romas Jankauskas said.
Lithuanians brought their national flags, which were distributed to the guests of the exhibition during the celebration of the National Day. The New Idea Chambers Chamber Orchestra also performed in the honor of the festival.
Let us remind that, this is the 12th world exhibition EXPO, in which Lithuanians have been taking part since the country gained independence. The main presentation for the pavilion of the Baltic state was prepared by the Ministry of Environmental Protection of Lithuania.
