Jackie Chan to come to Astana EXPO with his new movie

2 June

The world famous star of Chinese action movies Jackie Chan will come to the world specialized exhibition Astana EXPO 2017. This is reported by Ecns.cn Chinese portal.

"Kazakhstani singer Dimash Kudaibergen wrote in his Chinese microblog that he fell in love with China because of Jackie Chan's action movies. Now, his compatriots will be able to see the legend on the big screen again. On June 7 to 18, in the capital of Kazakhstan, Astana city will be held a festival of Chinese movies. 6 feature-length movies, including "Kung Fu Yoga" thriller will be shown there for the first time. According to the organizers, Chan will also be there," the newspaper notes.

The festival of Chinese movies is held as part of China's participation in the world specialized exhibition Astana EXPO 2017. In addition to the new picture with the participation of Jackie Chan, movie lovers will be shown such feature-length movies as "Flower", "True Love", "Ili River", “Wolf Totem" and "Go Away Mr. Tumor."

EXPO2017.com website has already told about five reasons why the forthcoming exhibition Astana EXPO 2017 is of interest to the Chinese. Among the main reasons - the upcoming concert of Dimash Kudaibergen, after whose participation in "I'm a singer" contest, China was swept by a real "Dimashemania".

It is also expected that within the framework of Astana EXPO 2017 an exhibition of the legendary Terracotta Army will take place.

The pavilion of China itself will be fully completed by the end of May and will be one of the largest expositions of the exhibition. The main focus this country intends to make on the achievements with which it is possible to receive electricity and nuclear energy from the water. Eco-friendly cars of Chinese production will also be demonstrated at the exhibition. China has already began a comprehensive trial operation of its pavilion.

The largest at EXPO 2017 is also expected to be a delegation from China. Xinjiang Week, along with the “Year of China’s Tourism in Kazakhstan” and the National Day of China in Astana will be held at the Chinese pavilion of the exhibition.

It is also known that the informational support for EXPO will be provided by China Radio International.

Let us note that earlier a Chinese citizen found himself in the centre of a scandal in Kazakhstan, when he photographed himself after climbing a monument to three legendary Kazakh Judges. Internet users have condemned the actions of the Chinese, noting that a massive influx of tourists from China is expected during the world exhibition in Astana. Later it became known that the incident occurred on the territory of the People's Republic of China.

Another scandal is connected with the fact that according to the information of Kazakhstan's bloggers, millions of tenge are allocated from the budget of Kazakhstan for servicing Chinese citizens during the EXPO. Users point out the fact that at the same time, many Chinese will visit the exhibition for free.

In early May, it became known that China will receive two pavilions at EXPO.

Among the honoured guests of the exhibition will be the President of China Xi Jinping, who personally confirmed to President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev his intention to visit the exhibition.

Earlier, the Ambassador of China to Kazakhstan, Zhang Hanhui, expressed a concern about possible visa problems for the Chinese on the threshold of Expo 2017. According to Ambassador, there is uncertainty regarding the issue of visas for the work of private Kazakh mediators.
