President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev held a telephone conversation with the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. This was reported in the press service of Akorda.

"During the conversation Nursultan Nazarbayev and Vladimir Putin exchanged views on actual issues on the regional and international agenda. Special attention was paid to the situation in Syria and the schedule of the forthcoming inter-Syrian talks on the Astana platform.
