Nazarbayev has opened the first in Astana Five-Star Hotel Ritz-Carlton on the threshold of EXPO

President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev took part in the opening ceremony of the first five-star international world-class hotel Ritz-Carlton, which is located in the building of the Talan Towers multifunctional complex in Astana. This was reported in the press service of Akorda. The Kazakh leader congratulated the residents of Astana, investors and all those involved in the construction of the hotel with its opening.

"On the threshold of the international exhibition EXPO 2017, the residents of the capital received another gift: it is a high-end hotel of world-class Ritz-Carlton, built in a short period of time with the use of advanced technologies and standards. It's a big investment in urban insfrastructure," Nazarbayev said.

The President stressed that Astana now has a hotel complex of the highest level.

"Kazakhstani companies participated in its construction. The hotel has all the necessary infrastructure for holding events of the highest level and receiving high-ranking guests," the Kazakh leader said.

Nazarbayev also left an entry in the book of honourable guests.

According to the press service of Akorda, the total area of the Talan Towers complex, located on the left bank of Astana, is 120 thousand square meters. It houses the Talan Towers Offices, the Ritz-Carlton hotel, the SPA-centre, business centre and the Emporium shopping gallery.
