"It's necessary to take advantage of the time of EXPO 2017. A lot of tourists have arrived, including from abroad. At the same time the ecosystem should not be overloaded. It is necessary to create civilized conditions for the recreation of people," the Kazakh leader stressed.

Nazarbayev noted the importance of increasing the socio-economic indicators of the region and named a number of areas that require increased attention from the region's management.

In turn, akim of Akmola region reported to the President on the progress of implementing infrastructure projects aimed at increasing the tourist attractiveness of the active recreation areas and told about plans for further solving the problems in the sphere of life support for the guests and residents of the region.
