Policemen of Northern Kazakhstan will communicate with the guests of EXPO with the help of a pocket phrase book

10 May

A police unit from the North Kazakhstan region went to Astana to ensure the safety of citizens during the World Specialized Exhibition EXPO 2017. This was reported by the IIA "Kazinform".

Police officers have been given a special phrase book in Kazakh, Russian and English to work during the exhibition. The phrase book includes the basic set of words and sentences that a policeman might need.

"Your appearance, inner culture, readiness to come to the aid of organizers and guests should not cause any critics", - said Chief of the Department of Internal Affairs of the North Kazakhstan region, Major-General Berik Bilyalov.

50 North Kazakhstani law enforcement officers went to help the policemen of Astana. Additional uniforms and the most necessary things have been specially prepared for them for a long period of service.

Let us remind that earlier it became known that only 200 of 5,000 police officers providing security for the EXPO can speak fluent English. Therefore, students have been recruited to the aid of the policemen in patrolling Astana and the exhibition objects.
