New details of the Singapore Pavilion concept for EXPO have appeared

15 May

The guests of the world specialized exhibition Astana EXPO 2017 will be able to feel themselves in tropical conditions. Pavilion of Singapore will be presented to visitors in the form of a huge terrarium, reports.

The Singapore pavilion is called "The Small City of Great Ideas". It will demonstrate the country's efforts to create an ecosystem. Despite the fact that Singapore lacks natural resources and land, this state has made great achievements in the field of sustainable energy.

According to the organizers, the pavilion will be divided into six zones. In one of them, the climatic conditions of Singapore will be recreated, in the other visitors will be told about the history of development of the energy sector of the country with the help of multimedia technologies. Then the guests will be presented with about 250 terrariums with handwritten notes and small clay models of what, according to the authors, best represent Singapore. The main exposition hall will be the "Laboratory of the Future" - a space reminiscent of a greenhouse or herbarium.

In addition, guests will be able to relax in a special room in the pavilion intended for "reflection." It will feature the images of Singaporean companies and rotating exhibits.

Let us remind, the pavilion of Singapore will be officially opened on June, 8. Solemn ceremony will be enriched with a large-scale choreographic performance. For the invited guests the organizers will make a tour of the pavilion. It is expected that the opening ceremony of EXPO 2017 will be visited by the Parliament Speaker of Singapore Halimah Yacob.
