The territory of the world specialized exhibition Astana EXPO 2017 will supplied with electricity by the transformers of Kazakhstan production. Engineer of Kentau Transformer Plant Amanzhol Turlybekov wrote about the development of domestic engineers on his Facebook page.
The weight of one transformer, according to the engineer, is 93 tons. Installation can serve electricity tens of thousands of people.
"You can see two 80,000 kVA/110 kV transformers, the production of Kentau Transformer Plant JSC, which will soon supply electricity to all EXPO 2017 facilities and microdistricts of Astana city! Hundreds of power engineers of the holding company Alageum Electric worked on the creation of these mega-machines. It should be noted that such electric machines are produced in Kazakhstan for the first time", - wrote Turlybekov.
Facebook user noted that this is truly a great event in the sphere of scientific and technological development of Kazakhstan.
Let us remind that the first information about the unique electric transformers of Kazakhstan designed to supply the territory of EXPO became known in April. It was reported that these devices will be supplied from Kentau to Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Afghanistan.
