Prime Minister of Kazakhstan checked Astana's readiness for EXPO and evaluated the situation at Taldykol Lake

Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Bakhytzhan Sagintayev checked the readiness of EXPO 2017 facilities for holding the world specialized exhibition. This was reported in the press service of the government.

"On the instructions of the head of state Sagintayev visited the main object of EXPO 2017 - the national pavilion of Kazakhstan "Nur Alem", the concert hall and the amphitheater of the Congress Centre and the Congress Hotel. The Prime Minister also got acquainted with the work of the corporate pavilion where the presentation of "Citic Group Corporation", JSC "KTZ", JSC "Samruk-Energy", "Mediker" LLP and JSC "NUKH "KazAgro" took place," reported in the government.

In addition, the prime minister checked the readiness of Astana's infrastructure for EXPO 2017.

"Sagintayev got acquainted with the progress of the construction of a new railway station, new terminals of Astana International Airport, the “Green Quarter” and “Abu Dhabi Plaza” complexes and the sewage treatment facility “Taldykol”. Astana is currently preparing for the opening of the international specialized exhibition EXPO 2017. The objects of the capital infrastructure play an important role for the city's uninterrupted life-support and comfortable stay for exhibitors and visitors of EXPO 2017," summarized in the press service.
