The preparatory works for the UN EXPO Pavilion continues 24-hours a day and without holidays

The Permanent Coordinator of the United Nations Development Program in Kazakhstan, Norimasa Shimomura, talked about the preparation of the United Nations pavilion for participation in the world specialized exhibition Astana EXPO 2017. The photos, that show the progress in preparations for the event he has published on his Facebook page.

"Images of what is happening on the territory of EXPO right now. A fortnight before the opening. The works are conducted 24 hours a day, 7 days a week,” Shimomura wrote.

It should be reminded that Kazakhstan together with the United Nations intends to hold the VIII International Forum on Energy for Sustainable Development and the Ministerial Meeting on Energy at the site of the world specialised exhibition Astana EXPO 2017. In mid-May it became known that the International Energy Charter will  participate in the work of the forum and conference.

It is expected that the opening ceremony of the exhibition will be visited by the Secretary General of the United Nations António Guterres.

In the UN pavilion itself will be presented the theme of energy for sustainable development.

It should be noted that the organization also plans to provide broad information support to EXPO 2017.
