United Arab Emirates promises to start a revolution in alternative energy at the EXPO

23 June

The project of super-power solar panels was presented in the pavilion of the United Arab Emirates at the world specialized exhibition Astana EXPO 2017. The prototypes will be ready by 2020, the "Khabar" TV channel reports.

The solar panels are planned to be exhibited to the general public at the Dubai exhibition in 2020. According to the scientists, only 1 second of operation of such an installation will be able to provide electricity for a whole week for a one-story house. Two seconds will be enough for 6 years of the refrigerator and six seconds will give the opportunity to simultaneously charge 450,000 mobile phones.

"The EXPO 2017 in Astana is an excellent opportunity to shed light on the efforts made by the UAE in various fields of activity, especially in the field of renewable energy. The UAE Pavilion is an interactive platform through which visitors can get acquainted with certain areas of " Future Energy", - the plenipotentiary ambassador of the United Arab Emirates in Kazakhstan Muhammad Ahmed Sultan Isa Al-Jaber shared.

Let us remind that Kazakhstan has already confirmed its participation in the world exhibition EXPO 2020 in Dubai. The topic of the Emirates exhibition is "Connecting Minds - Creating the Future". It focuses on the expression of three key aspects that reveal its meaning: "Opportunity", "Mobility" and "Sustainability".
