The symbol of the international exhibition EXPO 2017 will be the largest spherical building in the world with a diameter of 80 meters. The Kazakhstan pavilion will be located in it.
"The area has eight floors, each floor will show one of the types of alternative energy. For instance, the first floor is hydropower, the second floor is the energy of the sun, the third floor is wind energy, the fourth floor is bioenergy, chemical energy. All this remains as a prototype for everyone and, of course, for us, for Kazakhstani people,” noted earlier President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev.
Let’s note that two wind generators will be located in the upper part of the sphere. The building has a "wind-catching" configuration, which allows directing wind currents. It is also known that on the surface of the Kazakhstan pavilion, at a nightfall will be presented a light show.

The first will acquaint guests closer with the host country of the exhibition, and the second will be called "Creative energy”. In the central part of the national pavilion will be placed a model of the Kazakhstan material science thermonuclear reactor “Tokamak”- it is an experimental thermonuclear installation for research and testing of materials under conditions of energy loads close to ITER (the project of the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor). As the Minister of Energy of Kazakhstan, Kanat Bozumbayev said, the work on the preparation of the national pavilion EXPO of the host country of the exhibition came to the final stage.
