The organizers of the world specialized exhibition Astana EXPO 2017 have changed the design of the official web resource of the event. Not only the appearance, but also the navigation system has changed, EXPO2017.com website reports.
The static links and the tiled location of the navigation buttons have been replaced by the interactive interface. The background image of the website opens a view of the EXPO 2017 exhibition complex and the adjoining objects of Astana from a bird's eye view. When you hover over an object of the exhibition, it "comes to life", displaying links to the object, for which the necessary information is available.
The indicator of the countdown of the days remaining before the start of the exhibition has shifted from the header of the site to the lower right corner of the main background, while the number of main buttons on the cap itself was reduced to four - "buy a ticket", "book a hotel," “cultural and entertainment program”and "accreditation". The upper right corner was taken under the language panel and the "social" buttons.
A separate section "online broadcast” has also appeared on the website, which is displayed directly when you go to the main page of the resource, and the news headlines of the company, which used to be placed in the form of tiles, are now published as a horizontal ribbon. The map of the site now occupies the entire bottom of the main page.
Let us remind, earlier Forbes magazine wrote about the blunders and discrepancies in the old design of the main portal of Astana EXPO 2017 exhibition, after what it turned out that an illustration of the cover of James Hooper's book "How to grow out of asthma as quickly as humanly possible" was used as a background of the website. Both the design of the resource and navigation on the website were criticised by the authoritative edition.
