Gradual refusal of conductors in buses will start during the EXPO in Astana

7 June

Starting from the world specialized exhibition EXPO 2017 the public transport of Astana will gradually refuse the services of conductors. This was stated by the head of the Office of Passenger Transport of Astana Bekmyrza Igenberdinov, the information portal Today.kz writes.

As Bekmyrza Igenberdinov notes, the conductors will be retrained to consultants in the Employment Center.

"During the EXPO 2017 we plan to remove the conductors from the shuttle buses and later from all the buses. The conductors will be retrained to consultants until the city transport completely switches to an electronic payment system", - Igenberdinov said.

Let us remind that 167 Iveco Urbanway shuttle buses will enter the streets of Astana on the eve of the world specialized exhibition EXPO 2017. They will serve 7 new routes to be opened by the beginning of the exhibition.
