Hundreds of EXPO visitors suffered from anomalous heat

20 June

Hundreds of the world specialized exhibition Astana EXPO 2017 visitors have suffered from anomalous heat. As reported by “Kazinform” with reference to the Director of the Maintenance Service Department of JSC “NC” “Astana Expo 2017” Diyas Azbergenov, for the first 9 days of the exhibition, 714 people applied for medical assistance.

"Most of the cases were caused by heat strokes and overheating. We associate this with the abnormal heat that stayed all last week," Azbergenov shared.

Let's remind, the first month of the work of the world specialized exhibition Astana EXPO coincided with the heat, which is anomalous for Astana. In the middle of June, the thermometers were held at the mark of +35 degrees Celsius for almost a week. According to the predictions of weather forecasters, the relative coolness will be observed only in July, whereupon the heat will come again.
