Special services inspect Astana offices on the eve of EXPO

22 May

Agents of the National Security Committee (NSC) of the Republic of Kazakhstan to inspect the offices of Astana on the eve of the world specialized exhibition Astana EXPO 2017 began. EXPO2017.com website was told about it by an employee of one of the capital companies who asked not to be named.

"The NSC arrives and check everything. They say that the president's decree has been published on the eve of EXPO. They come to the offices with inspection", - the interviewee said.

Let us remind that in early April the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, received the chairman of the NSC Karim Massimov in Akorda and instructed him to ensure security at the Astana EXPO 2017. Kazakhstani leader mentioned the terrorist attacks in other countries and pointed out the need for organizing relevant work including joint cooperation with foreign colleagues in order to prevent such events.

On May 10 an operative preventive campaign "Law and order" was launched in Astana which will last until May 31. During the campaign the police carry out an intensive check of documents. The event is held within the framework of organization and holding of the world specialized exhibition Astana EXPO 2017.
