EXPO grandmother from Japan who became a symbol of all EXPOs arrived to Astana

A traveler who hasvisited 7 international EXPO exhibitions arrived in Kazakhstan.80-year-old Tomio Yamada from Japan is called the EXPO-grandmother, "Khabar" television channel reports.

Tomio Yamada becamean EXPO guest for the first time in 1970 in Osaka. Under theimpression of what she saw, the traveler decided to attend allinternational exhibitions. Astana grandmother from Japan visited theexhibition as the Ambassador of EXPO 2017.

"I started tobe called an EXPO-grandmother since 2005 after the EXPO exhibition inShanghai. I liked this exhibition most of all. I cannot yet evaluateyour exhibition in Astana because I have not yet visited thepavilions but from the fact that I already here I saw, I like ithere", - said Tomio Yamada.
