The presentation of the world specialized exhibition Astana EXPO 2017 pavilions has began in Astana, the press service of akim of the capital of Kazakhstan informed. Management representatives of the organizer of EXPO told about the readiness of the exhibition objects to the beginning of the event.
"To date, 126 thousand square meters of all pavilions of international participants have almost been completed. There are 5 countries that are completing their construction and installation works," in the press service reported.
On June 4, 11 country pavilions could be visited, including Finland, Qatar, Thailand, Malaysia, China and others.
"Today we have all the objects ready and the remaining small amount of improvement will be completed in the near future. Over the past months, we have conducted many exercises and well as freelance situations. As visitors we invited our employees, employees of our contractors, the staff of our partners and sponsors. The whole territory of the exhibition will be involved in the dress rehearsal, at the same time we want to keep our "sphere" in secret until June 10. Thus, the entire area of our "sphere" will not be accessible to visitors. We conduct a dress rehearsal in order to ensure that our services, which will be provided, are all at a high level," Beibit Karymsakov, Managing Director of JSC "NC" "Astana Expo 2017".
According to the organizers, the access systems are fully operational. In the test mode, visitors were able to enter the exhibition by using free tickets through the turnstile system at the entrance groups.
"As for catering, almost all food facilities have completed their finishing work. Only a few of them end up the final finishing work, everything will be ready by June 10 and now all the restaurants are being commissioned and started up," the director of the Commercialization Department of JSC "NC" "Astana Expo 2017" Daulet Yerkimbayev shared.
He noted that a number of cafes, restaurants operate in full.
It also became known that about 1.2 million tickets were already sold.
During the test opening of the exhibition, Switzerland, Japan, Thailand and Malaysia presented their pavilions.
The participants demonstrated interactive pavilions, presenting the experience of their states and innovations in the use of "green" technologies.
