16 projects prepared for the world specialized exhibition Astana EXPO 2017 have been presented by scientists of the Italian region of Lazio. Preliminary developments were presented in Rome, the "Khabar 24" channel reports.
The projects by scientists from Lazio will be presented at the EXPO in late July. Visitors will be told about how vegetable fibers are used in construction, hydrogen for heating buildings and graphene for the production of solar panels. Guests will also be shown the details of manufacturing economical and capacious batteries without which a transition to alternative energy is impossible.
"Now, especially new energy storage systems are inexpensive and efficient, renewable energy sources are not programmable and in order to use them steadily it is necessary to install different types of batteries in existing electric networks. When the sun is shining and the wind is blowing, energy will be accumulated and then used in any time", - said Professor La Sapienza University Livio de Santoli.
Italian scientists mention the importance of participation in EXPO noting that the exhibition is held in Kazakhstan - a country with one of the fastest growing economies in the world.
"We have a lot of innovative projects and we want to cooperate with you (Kazakhstan - Note EXPO2017.com), establish relations between scientists, research centers and business representatives", - said a member of the Lazio Region Council on issues Economic development Guido Fabbiani.
Let us remind that 15 regions of Italy represent their achievements in various sectors at the world specialized exhibition Astana EXPO 2017. Earlier it became known about the projects that were prepared for the exhibition from the Italian regions of Marche, Tuscany and Umbria.
