Ukraine is trying to solve the problem of Chernobyl at EXPO

19 June

Chernobyl is represented at the world specialized exhibition EXPO 2017 in Astana as an investment site for the development of solar and wind energy. This is written by the news portal Ukrinform.ru.

Vice Prime Minister - Minister of Regional Development, Construction and Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine Gennady Zubko told about the future of Chernobyl during his speech in the honor of the National Day of the country at the site of EXPO 2017.

"The projects that are being implemented in Ukraine today and those we are presenting at the EXPO 2017 provide an opportunity for cooperation. One of the projects is designed to change the fate of Chernobyl, which we consider today as an investment zone where it is possible to develop solar energy and wind power, - Zubko said.

Let us remind, the number of projects that are planned to be created at Chernobyl includes a solar power plant that will use the infrastructure created once for a nuclear power station.
