Kazakhstan's Ambassador to Turkey Abzal Saparbekuly met in Ankara with Deputy Prime Minister of the Turkish Republic Turgrul Turkesh. An interested exchange of views took place at the meeting on the issues of Turkey's participation in the world specialized exhibition Astana EXPO 2017 and the program of holding such events as the opening of the pavilion and the National Day of Turkey. This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
"The parties discussed topical issues of investment cooperation and drew attention to the need to intensify joint measures such as strengthening ties between large companies of the two countries including through joint business forums. Touching upon the issues of attracting Turkish tourists to the EXPO, the parties shared views on opportunities for expanding cooperation in the organization of tourist routes for acquaintance with the objects of the general cultural heritage of the Turkic world located in Kazakhstan", - the press service reported.
In addition, representatives of Kazakhstan and Turkey discussed the development of cultural and humanitarian ties within the framework of the Turkic Council and the Turkic world in general.
Earlier the organizers of the world specialized exhibition Astana EXPO 2017 held a road show in Istanbul with the participation of leading tour operators in Turkey. As Turkish businessmen noted at the event, all the conditions have been created to increase the flow of tourists including a visa-free regime and regular flights between the two countries.
