16 May

Employees of regional departments of internal affairs began to arrive in the capital of Kazakhstan. They will ensure law and order during the world specialized exhibition Astana EXPO 2017, the channel "Khabar 24" reports.

During the year police from the regions actively studied English. In addition, they were trained in tactics of carrying out the service and carrying out the inspection. In total, 500 people came to Astana to ensure security.

"The personnel of the Department of Internal Affairs of Astana will be mainly involved in patrolling the territory of the EXPO. Moreover, cynologists with trained dogs as well as bomb squads and specially trained staff for technical facilities will be involved from all regions", - said Yerlan Turgumbayev, the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, .

Let us remind that earlier it became known that only 200 of 5,000 police officers providing security of the EXPO, can speak fluent English. Therefore, students will accompany  and help law enforcement officers during the patrolling of Astana and the exhibition objects while the policemen of the North Kazakhstan region were simply given pocket phrase books.

It was also reported that the policemen of Astana are currently taught the etiquette of communication with tourists.
