Sustainable solutions in the field of agricultural technology will be presented at the Finnish pavilion

27 April

The Finnish pavilion at the world specialized exhibition Astana EXPO 2017 will be presented under the theme of "Clean Energy Exchange". The exposition will tell the guests about high-quality and sustainable solutions of Finnish agrotechnics, the "AgroInfo" newspaper writes.

The creators of the pavilion intend to make the Finnish proposal more famous to the Kazakhstani market as well as visitors to the international exhibition.

"The current project for the development and modernization of agriculture in Kazakhstan is a significant long-term investment in the future of the country. We believe that the Finnish agricultural sector with its great history in agricultural innovation has great experience that can be offered for the benefit of Kazakhstan", - said the director of program of agricultural technology in Finland Elina Pushkarzhevich.

At the same time there is a special demand in Kazakhstan for grain processing equipment. Finland can offer globally recognized high-quality solutions in these areas.

"Our harsh northern climate and vulnerable environment require that agricultural machines are durable and easy to maintain while ensuring sustainability in quality is number one priority. Finland has strict rules for animal protection and food industry which makes Finnish companies innovative in the development of effective and hygienic solutions for livestock raising that increase the productivity of farms and improve the welfare of animals", - said Pushkarzhevich.

It is already known that on September 7 the Finnish pavilion will hold a special event on agricultural technologies.

Let us remind that an extensive delegation of representatives of the KFEIG consortium will take part in the work of the Finnish pavilion of the international exhibition Astana EXPO 2017. It includes four largest technical universities in Finland - Jyväskylä University of Applied Sciences, Hämeenlinna University of Applied Sciences, Tampere Adult Education Center and Lahti University of Applied Sciences.

In addition, Joulupukki - the Finnish Santa Claus - will fly to Astana from Lapland for an exhibition from Lapland from July 18 to August 11, 2017. Despite the fact that traditionally the fairy-tale character usually leaves his house only on Christmas holidays, Finnish Santa Claus decided to make an exception for the guests of Astana EXPO 2017. Also the Finnish decided to reproduce the effect of the Northern Lights in their pavilion.

After the exhibition Finland will take part in the creation of the IT startups park based on the facilities of EXPO 2017.

Sketches of the Finnish exhibition pavilion were earlier published on the internet.

Earlier it became known that tickets for EXPO 2017 were the prizes of a lottery in Finland in order to warm up interest in their technologies which they plan to show in Astana. The drawing of tickets for the opening day of the exhibition takes place on the page of the Finnish pavilion in the social network Facebook.
