In total JSC "NC" Kazakhstan Temir Zholy" has launched about 700 modern locomotives with the image of the logo of the international exhibition, the newspaper "Caravan" writes.
"Modern locomotives created by Kazakhstan manufacturers together with international companies "GE Transportation" and "ALSTOM Transport" "carry" the information about the upcoming international event to the most remote corners of the country, large and small stations. The residents of Russian border stations Aksaraiskaya, Iletsk, Lokot, Ozinki, Kartaly, Kulunda, where our locomotives go, will also get to know about the fact that EXPO 2017 opens in June in Astana", - the director of the Department of repair of traction equipment of JSC "KTZh - Freight Transportation" Bakbergen Zhaksylykov said.
Employees of JSC "KTZh - Freight Transportation" note the contribution of the international exhibition to the development of the domestic economy and the creation of our own technical developments.

Earlier it became known that 14 passenger trains will additionally be launched by the opening of the international specialized exhibition Astana EXPO 2017. The total number of passenger trains will reach 58. It was also reported that a high-speed passenger train will begin to run between the station Altynkol, located on the border with China, and Astana on the eve of the exhibition.
