Visitors can test the devices of the future in the Korean Pavilion

South Korea pavilion "Premium Korea" will work in the shopping and entertainment center MEGA SILK WAY Astana on the territory of the world specialized exhibition EXPO until July 23. It is a POP-UP Store where visitors can find products of 100 leading Korean companies, Newtimes.kz writes.

Guests of "Premium Korea" are offered to learn more about the culture and economy of the country, to try national cuisine and to test products such as gadgets and cosmetics.

In addition, the pavilion holds business meetings with representatives of leading Korean companies. Entrepreneurs from South Korea are interested in cooperation with Kazakhstani businessmen and are ready to discuss topical issues. It should be noted that the General Consulate of the Republic of Korea became the organizer of the exhibition pavilion.

The grand opening ceremony of the pavilion was held on June 11. The event was attended by the president of the Association of Koreans in Kazakhstan Roman Kim, director of the regional branch of the DAMU Fund in Astana Islambek Kairbekov as well as the popular Kazakh singer Ashu Matai.

Earlier the deputy director of the Korean pavilion Kim Jung-Hong told EXPO2017.com that the Republic of Korea's entertainment program for EXPO 2017 includes about 400 different events.

The presentation of the Korean exhibition pavilion took place in Seoul in mid-May. Representatives of the pavilion said that the Republic of Korea will demonstrate the best advanced technologies in Astana. A special department was created under the Korean Agency for the Development of Trade to prepare for the exhibition and organize the performances of artists.

The technological innovations announced in the framework of the Korean exposition include a car that uses hydrogen fuel for transportation.
