Lithuania will demonstrate laser technologies at the world specialized exhibition Astana EXPO 2017. This was announced in Vilnius at the presentation of the concept of the Lithuanian pavilion by general commissioner Romas Jankauskas, the "Sputnik" agency reports.
According to the Commissioner, the main exposition will be located on the first floor of a two-storey building with a total area of 530 square meters. Guests of the exhibition will be surprised by laser or rays, holograms, art installations imitating laser. With the help of interactive technologies visitors will be told about the connection of the Lithuanian electric and gas networks with European ones, the rapid development of renewable energy: wind, solar, bioenergy and so on.
In addition, the pavilion will house a laboratory where young inventors will show their developments. The Day of Lithuania is scheduled for June 23.
Let us remind this is the 12th world exhibition EXPO where Lithuanians will take part from the moment of gaining independence by the country. The main presentation for the pavilion of the Baltic state is prepared by the Ministry of Environmental Protection of Lithuania.
