Various types of transport that work on solar energy are presented in the pavilion of Monaco at the world specialized exhibition Astana EXPO 2017. Visitors can get acquainted with innovative technologies in the multimedia sector, which is an interactive laboratory, "Kazinform" IIA informs.
The exposition of Monaco tells about the best practices of the principality in moving towards an alternative economy.
"You will also see an airplane that crossed the ocean working on solar energy. You will learn about the Prince Albert II fund, which also includes environmental initiatives, as well as processing plants. The last exposition is a bicycle powered by solar energy. It was created by the students of the Technical Lyceum of Monaco. So the representatives of the principality want to show that the younger generation is already involved in the "green" economy and are interested in moving in this direction. The frame is made of bamboo - environmentally friendly material, the bike itself works on solar energy", - Alexander Bokiyon, the deputy commissioner of the Monaco pavilion told.
In the center of the Monaco pavilion there is an installation imitating the movement of sea waves. Visitors can smell in the room the aroma of the sea with a slight odor of iodine. In addition, guests are invited to pass through Monaco with the help of special glasses in the hall of virtual reality.
"I come to this attraction every day. You know, I have got a feeling that I was teleported to my country. Moreover, I can say that I discover Monaco in a new way. This is the most popular attraction among our guests", - Bokiyon said.
The Principality of Monaco in its exposition emphasizes the intellectual approach to translating projects in the country from the point of view of environmental awareness and ecological behavior. The theme of the pavilion is "The Map of the Future".
