About 3,300 people visited an Open Doors Day in the Embassy of Kazakhstan in the United States. The event was dedicated to the forthcoming world specialized exhibition Astana EXPO 2017, "Khabar 24” TV channel reports.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the US government, the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund and The Washington Post newspaper. Guests were told about the history, culture, traditions of Kazakh people, modern achievements of the republic in the economic, political and international spheres.
In addition, the event showed the ancient art of nomadic peoples who inhabited the territory of Kazakhstan. Of particular interest to foreigners was the yurt, near which many people gathered to photograph the dwelling of nomads.
It should be noted that in addition to Kazakh diplomats, the Astana EXPO 2017 exhibition in the US is also advertised by Arman Belasar, a native of Kazakhstan, who lives in New York. The businessman owns a park of 200 cars, on which it is written: ”Welcome to Kazakhstan". The advertisement that the entrepreneur made for the exhibition with the invitation to visit his native country was absolutely free.
Let us remind, the US signed a contract of participation in the world exhibition Astana EXPO 2017 in the Kazakh capital on February 24. American diplomats even dedicated a special ecological action to the exhibition, in which they urge Kazakhstanis to refuse free plastic bags in supermarkets.
In addition to the developments of the world-famous American companies, it is expected that in the US pavilion at EXPO 2017, 8 US startups on "Energy of the Future” will be presented at once.
Earlier, the holding of the world specialized exhibition Astana EXPO 2017 in Kazakhstan was supported by US president Donald Trump.
