Kazakhstan’s Government discussed the issues of holding EXPO

Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev held a meeting of the state commission for the preparation and holding of the world specialized exhibition Astana EXPO 2017. This is reported by EXPO2017.com website with reference to the press service of the government.

"The attendance of the exhibition and security issues were discussed during the meeting, as well as the possibility of applying new technologies in Kazakhstan, placed in the international pavilions of EXPO 2017 exhibition. The Chairman of the board of JSC “NC” “Astana Expo 2017” Akhmetzhan Yessimov reported that this is the 18-th day of the exhibition, and all 115 countries and 22 international organizations that have confirmed their participation have already ensured the functioning of the pavilions,” in the government said.

According to the press service, the International Exhibitions Bureau notes that this is the first time when all the pavilions began their work in such a short time.

"According to Yessimov, since the opening, more than 400 thousand people visited the exhibition, the average number of the exhibition visitors per day is 24 thousand people," summed up in the government press service.
