5 May

During the world specialized exhibition EXPO 2017 Astana residents will work according to the changed schedule. Bekmyrza Igenberdinov, the head of the capital’s Passenger Transport Administration, told about this during the press-conference on the issues of transport support and traffic management in Astana during the exhibition, IA "NewTimes.kz" reports.

"Construction companies will start working 2 hours earlier than now, that is, from 7:00 am instead of 9:00 am. The beginning of the work of community services, as the official specified, shifts from 9:00 am to 7:30 am. The PSC’s (Population Service Centres) and financial organizations will open not at 9 o'clock in the morning, as now, but at 10:00 am. The shopping and entertainment centres will start working even later: from 10:30 am, instead of 10:00 am,” the edition specifies.

As Igenberdinov said, the beginning of the working day of universities is shifting from 8:00 am to 10:00 am.

"For the republican and local government bodies, all state institutions to change the working start time from 8:00 am to 10:00 am," the representative of the metropolitan Akimat noted.

At the same time, chief Igenberdinov specified that work schedule of law enforcement bodies, medical institutions, kindergartens and schools will not change, and also recalled that the transition to a new schedule is planned from June 1.
