EXPO volunteers are studying sign language and first aid rules

In Astana, as a part of the volunteers training program for the EXPO 2017 the Deputy Akim of the capital of Kazakhstan Malika Bekturova attended one of the trainings. This was reported in the press service of the akimat.

"Bekturova spoke with the volunteers coordinators, noting the importance of their activities during the international exhibition, because they are in the city to ensure the awareness of tourists about the location of facilities and infrastructure elements", - the press service informed.

Coordinators, in turn, shared the fact that they were studying the main activities of volunteers, the system of their motivation, the specifity of solving organizational issues.

"It should be noted that future volunteers have begun to intensively prepare for the world exhibition EXPO 2017. According to Askhat Oralov, the head of the department for youth policy of Astana, the preparation program of future volunteers includes such topics as sign language, emergency behavior, and the provision of the first medical aid", - the akimat summarized.

Let us note that in early March the deputies of Astana maslikhat considered the distribution of free balances for the beginning of the fiscal year at an extraordinary session of the capital representative body. During the meeting, it was suggested to allocate the money for training volunteers for the world specialized exhibition Astana EXPO 2017.
