Issues of transition to the green economy to be discussed at the business forum within EXPO

The II Eurasian Business Forum “Green Energy and Waste Recycling Forum”- GEWR'17 will be held in Astana within the framework of the world specialized exhibition EXPO 2017. The event will take place from 4 to 6 July at the Hilton Hotel, website reports with reference to the organizers of the Forum.

"The purpose of the Forum is to discuss the transition to a “green” economy of the CIS countries and the EAEU, which addresses the main aspects and problems of recycling, and the use of alternative energy sources. The Forum will include a plenary session and five sessions to discuss the development of sustainable energy sources, the increasing of promotion of the use of renewable energy sources, practical tasks and solutions for the introduction and use of innovative technologies for the collection, sorting, and processing of various types of waste, as well as projects for generating energy from waste,” the organizers said.

In addition, the excursions and participation in the festive events are provided for the participants of the Forum within the framework of the Day of Astana.
